Lotus which failed earlier to get in to the F1 grid made this time thanks to BMW exit from next season. Lotus technical director is Mike Gacoyne, ex-Force India. Mike Gascoyne expects his team to be best among the new outfit in the year2010.
With big aero programme in place with Fondtech and Jean-Claude Migeot, Lotus plans to expand further by setting up work at a factory in Norfolk. Lotus team will have fund in abundance as it is supported by Malaysian Government and Proton the Malaysian Car manufacturer.
Meanwhile FIA is planning to approach teams in F1 to get approval to have 14th team making the grid to have 28 cars for the year 2010. This will help BMW to get back its place.
