Williams Ready for Imola?!
« on: Apr 20, 06, 04:29 »
Williams is ready it seems. They have sorted out the gear box problem which halted his race at Melbourne.

What about the Roseberg. When the cars are waiting for the start of the race, I heard Honda engineer warning Rubens to be careful with Rosebers as he almost took Webber of the race track. A disgraceful  observation from another team. unfortunately, eventhough not his fault, he went out due to similar incident involving multiple cars.

Hope Rosebrg starts fresh. Speed is not a problem but gettin involved in DNF is may be due to bieng rookie!

Williams has cured Webber's problem
20 April 2006
Williams is confident it has fixed the gearbox problem which ended Mark Webber's competitive run in the Australian Grand Prix. Webber was running on a heavy fuel load and looked good for a high points-paying finish when his car ground to a halt while leading his home race.

"Since the last race, the team has been testing at Vallelunga and Barcelona to improve the car's reliability and performance," Williams technical director Sam Michael said. "We have identified the problem we had on Mark's gearbox in Melbourne and put corrections in place to avoid that type of failure again."

"We will have some aerodynamic and mechanical improvements on the FW28, all of which form part of our normal season-long development programme," he added. "Bridgestone have been working hard to improve tyre grip on low temperature surfaces and, as a result of this work, we will have two new tyre designs in Imola."

Webber with his good  performance in the Qualifing may get into point.
Unfortunate to here from the comment from other team  in such a manner.
Nicho should concentrate to finish the race at this time  ,Should invole in the  unnecessary over taking . As he is a Rookie, He should be cautious.
          Hope Webber get into points.
